The movie Home Alone is one of my favorite movies of all time, I don't know how many times I've watched it and I'm quiet sure I've watched other movies of Home Alone too, like Home Alone 2. Well, I guess it became my favorite because my parents are not always at home either alone or with a nanny. So I can pretty much relate to the movie, and able to get ideas if there are any burglars will try to invade my home.

I've been always afraid of the Grinch so I just watch it once and were not able to finish the whole movie too. I also don't have a clear memory of watching Polar Express but I've got the feeling that I've already watched it.

I also love the Santa Clause movie, including the Santa Clause 2 and 3. I love the way the story turned out, but I was sad on the 3rd movie since Santa and his wife got separated and need to be away from his own kid. But love every effect of the movie and I believe I watched it a lot of times too.

I highly suggest the Home Alone movies and the Santa Clause movies to watch with your family, including kids. It's funny, fun and great movie for this time of the year.

4 Cellphone Etiquette Tips

4 Cellphone Etiquette Tips

Cell phones are great if you want to get into touch with another person. They can also make a life better, but you have to be sure you know what you're doing with one. This article has some guidelines for you to follow to make sure you know how to use a cell phone properly.

When You Drive

If you are driving, it's never a good idea to text someone else. This may also be illegal depending on where you live. The reason why this is dangerous is because it takes you attention off of the road. If you were to strike and kill someone, that is something you can never take back so you need to be sure that you're able to protect yourself and the other drivers out there by only using a text feature when you're stopped.

Don't Shout

Most cell phones were made so that they amplify your voice and you don't have to yell into them. Talk like you normally would and if that doesn't work then look through your settings to see if you can adjust your voice so that you can get someone else to hear you without you having to yell. It will also keep you from letting other people hear what you're talking about to another person.

Pay Close Attention To Things

If you're going to be talking to someone else, you have to make sure that you take your ear off of your phone and speak with that person while the person on the phone waits. If you're driving, you may not want to answer your phone at all just to make sure you're safe.

Texting People

If you really want people to get annoyed with you, then you can start sending them texts as forwards. Basically these things should be avoided at all costs because people don't like spam messages most of the time. Try to avoid insulting people when you text as well. While you may think something is funny, there are going to be people out there that don't think that it's funny and they may quit speaking with you.

Calling At Decent Times

Make it a point not to call someone when they could be busy or asleep. After 10PM most people are going to be in bed. You also should avoid calling someone when you know they have to work because you don't want to interrupt them. If someone doesn't answer, don't call them back a bunch of times either.

Article Builder Review – Better than a Private Label?

Article Builder Review

I think it was just a couple of months ago that I’ve published a post about the Article Builder here in Bloggers Tech blog. Article Builder is a great source of content for posting on your blog or for your link building purpose – when we’re talking about SEO.

So I think it would be just right to share with everyone my Article Builder review. I’ve availed its service just for a day, just to see what’s inside it, get some content and see what it really offers – and of course if it’s worth for your money.

The Article Builder Review

As a SEO specialist myself, working for 3 years in this industry and working with clients around the world I have the experience and knowledge on how important it is (the content) in building quality links to your website.

So as usual, I’ve break down a couple of areas about the Article Builder to discuss and share with you. In this way, we all have a good insight about their service. But first off, let me share with everyone one of the article that I got from Article Builder.

QUALITY OF THE ARTICLE

If you’re able to read at least a paragraph of the article above, it’s actually a good article. Some PLR may be sold for around $5 in this quality (I had some interest in buying PLR articles before) but most of the PLR articles I found are usually bulleted  - to show the main idea or the topics need to be discussed which is good.

UNIQUENESS OF THE ARTICLE

I’ve used the tool in checking the article’s uniqueness and the above article is 0% unique – which means it has been used and published on the other site(s). So, we should avoid this to avoid getting penalized by the search engines and also plagiarism.

That’s the same with PLR articles - there are PLR article sellers out there that sell bulk of articles and to a limited number of buyers only. For example for $15 for 10 articles it will be only sold to 100 buyers and some may sell it to a limited number of buyers but it will cost you more.

The solution to this is to SPIN or rewrite the article. Why do that? Why not write a new one? Well, it will be a lot easier as a blogger or writer to write the article since the article that we’ll rewrite is already there, we just have to change a couple of format, words, and make it as your own. So the article writing is of course will be a lot faster and easier since the idea and information is already there.

ARTICLE NICHE

What’s great about Article Builder is that it caters a lot of niches. So if you have more than 2 blogs and don’t have time to update it (which is very important) or maybe you’re running out of idea (especially if your blog are in different niches), the Article Builder will be totally useful for you.

BETTER THAN A PLR ARTICLE?

Well, if you ask me, if you’re buying PLR articles and have different blogs, need a lot of content, then it would be best to at least try the Article Builder.

So to answer the question, my answer would be YES.

IS IT WORTH IT YOUR MONEY?

As for this, we need to compute it right? So let’s say you update your blog at least once a week (just like here in Bloggers Tech blog) and have 5 blogs. Let’s compute it for next year, shall we? Since it will be too late to compute the expenses you’ll have for this year since it’s already November.

Anyway, the internet has provided me with 52 Monday’s in 2014 but let’s just say we’ll need 50 articles for the year. I’ve also looked up online the price of the cheapest PLR article pack online which is $5 for 5 articles in the same niche.

So here’s my computation:
$5 – per article pack with 5 articles
x10
____
$50
x5 – the number of blogs that you have
____
$250

As we can see, if you’re just willing to add $47 on your expenses on your site you then could be able to update your blog not just once a week but possibly every day and that is catering different blog niches and you can add more blogs and have them all updated every day.

So as for this Article Builder review, if you have different sites and different blogs that you need to update at least once a week then having the Article Builder will be totally worth it. I think this would be ideal to SEO companies who want to give more resources to their writers or want to be able to spin quality articles and produce more articles out of it.

Bloggers Tech Rating on Article Builder

To be able to ensure the great use of the Article Builder and avoid plagiarism and getting penalized by search engines, you’ll need a writer to rewrite these articles or at least an article spinning software like the Best Spinner. So it may cost you more than $297 to make and have the quality article that you need.

I’ll give the Article Builder by Jonathan Leger a rating of 3.5 out of 5 stars, since you’ll still need someone else to rewrite the article to ensure its 100% unique. But it’s way better than using scrapping software since this one are well written by human and you can just use other terms for the words in the article.
Buy the Article Builder Now!

Just click on the button below to purchase their service now! What’s great is that, you’ll not only be able to help Bloggers Tech (since it’s an affiliate link) in the blog expenses, but you’ll also be able to try Article Builder for 3 months for only $87 which will surely benefit you.

5 Graphic Design Faux Pas - Avoid These Costly Mistakes

Graphic Design

Never create printed materials out of graphics designed for web pages

This is a very common mistake made by graphic designers who have spent the majority of their time working on web sites.  When one is optimizing a web site, one needs to concentrate on page load times.  As as a result, images are compressed down to the lowest quality possible while still appearing somewhat attractive on a computer monitor.  The problem is that when one uses these same graphics on a high resolution printer, they will typically look very grainy and unattractive.  As a result, one should get a completely separate source of graphics, typically very high resolution stock photos or images that can be found at a number of different sites online, for not a lot of money.

Not accounting for the bleed of a printed page

Computer monitors are precise instruments that display dimensions exactly in line with their dimensions.  However, printers are dealing with sheets of paper fed into them, and there can be slight variations in how the printed page lines up with the edge.  For that reason, it is vital for graphic designers to allow for at least 3mm of image bleed around every edge so that the image does not inappropriately fall off the page in some instances and in others leave an unwanted white border.  A good practice is to supply images in a psd file with different layers in tact so if there is some issue with the way it is printed, the image can be cropped or extended as need be relatively easily.

Using rare fonts and not including them with the output files

The wide variety of fonts out there can be a huge boon for a graphic designer.  No one just wants to see type in Arial or Times New Roman all the time.  However, one has to remember that the particular font you select from one of those massive font packs might not exist on someone else's computer.  If you send a file without embedding a particularly rare font you used, when sent to another machine that software might not know what to do with your font and instead substitute and arbitrary font that does not fit your design at all.  As a result, always make sure to embed copies of any fonts you have used with any file you transfer to someone else if it is not a common standard.

Using printed artwork which uses RGB color schemes

Everyone is familiar that most computer monitors use the standard 3 color RGB display scheme for color output.  However, high end printers often use a different way of generating colors, usually with a minimum of a four color CMYK matrix with perhaps even a fifth color for a metallic impression or UV varnish.  If you have not accounted for this change, then your artwork is not likely to look the same on printed paper as it does on your computer monitor.

Letting aesthetically challenged clients direct your work in the wrong direction

While ultimately the client is paying you for a good design, clients often have really crappy tastes.  If they push things in a bad direction that they like, then your name and reputation could still be attached to the final product.  You can better lead them towards a good design by creating several obviously crappy designs meant to direct them towards the absolutely appealing design you intend for them to chose.  Just note that in certain cases that their taste could be so bad that they actually chose the crappy throw-away design over the masterpiece.  Such is life!

Fun Tips For Using Your iPhone Camera

iPhone Camera

The iPhone is one of the hottest high-tech gadgets around. Not only does it cut down on the number of electronic devices you need, it's also an amazing tool for keeping in touch with your family, friends, and business contacts. Whatever the reason you've purchased a new iPhone, you can rest assured that you it's fully customizable to fit your lifestyle. However, there is one fantastic feature of the iPhone many people overlook - it's 2.0 Megapixel camera.

Unlike the typical cell phone camera, your iPhone can take truly amazing and high-quality photos that are perfect for your social networking needs. There a just a few quick tips that will have you taking wonderful shots with our iPhone in no time. So if you're interested in learning how to get the most out of your iPhone's camera - read on!

The first thing to remember it that your iPhone's camera takes photos a little differently. When you've taken photos with the iPhone you may have noticed your shots seemed a little "off". This is due to the unique process that the iPhone uses for picture taking. When you're using a regular digital camera, the photo is taken as soon as you press the shutter button. The iPhone actually doesn't take the photo until the shutter button is released. So if you've taken photos in the past without knowing this, your photos might look badly timed. This is easily remedied by just learning how the iPhone takes photos.

So one smart tip for taking iPhone photos, is to set up your shot while you have the shutter button pressed down. When you are sure that you have your shot perfectly framed, release the shutter button. Just by following this one simple bit of advice you should notice a huge improvement in your the composition of your iPhone photos. Remember, when taking photos with the iPhone, timing is everything.

You can also use the iPhone to help you personalize your phone's contact list. This can turn a boring contact list into something very amusing and entertaining. You may even want to share what your list looks like with others for a good laugh! After you take a photo of a friend, you can assign that photo to display whenever they call you.

Another way to have fun with feature is to use a little "photo magic". Have your friend stand on side a glass window, while you stand on the other. Next, ask your friend to press his or her face up against the glass while you take a photo. This will create an amusing optical illusion, when you receive their call it will look like they are trapped in your phone! So if you want an unique way to setup your contact list, try this out.

Keep in mind that the iPhone has many fun features included within it. The important thing is that you remember to experiment and have fun. That is the only way you will discover what works best for you. In reality, that is what makes the iPhone so much fun. It gives you the power to customize and create a unique phone environment that reflects your personal style.

Logo Design Secrets: Seven Things To Keep In Mind

Logo Design Secrets

When customers see your logo, what do they think? Do they see your brand positively? Is it compact enough to fit in a small space, yet powerful enough to jump out and grab their attention? Creating a powerful, compact logo to represent your company can be done if you take these seven factors into consideration before you enter the design process.

Logo Design Requires Research

You must understand the company and who they are trying to reach before designing a logo to represent them. The long and short term goals of the business must be considered. Ask yourself some questions. If the company is planning on expanding, make a forward thinking logo that will encompass the past while charting the future.

To Stand Out From The Crowd, The Logo Must Be Unique

The greatest logos are simple. They put a new spin on an old idea. A unique design will quietly assert the companies values and directions without being overly garish. A good design will cause the customer to pause and associate the logo with the company.

Simple Lines Create Memorable Logos

A logo spurs brand recognition and should not be cluttered with extras that will distract from its purpose. Simple lines are pleasing to the customer and are immediately recognizable. When logos are too cluttered, the customer becomes confused. Distill the essence of the company into its core values and illustrate those values.

Logos Must Be Flexible

Logos are displayed upon a variety of media. Some designs work great on storefronts or company banner heads but fall short when they are placed upon packaging that may deform. Be aware that your message can change with the media that it is displayed upon and take steps to ensure its integrity. The colors should work well against multiple backgrounds for best effect.

Reduce Clutter And Increase Impact

The human brain can only process so much information. If you include illustrations about every product in your line within the logo, you will lose customer interest and switch the emphasis from company brand to product lines. Product lines change over time but your company will remain in business. Too much information reduces the overall impact of a well-designed logo.

Use Fonts To Promote Readability

Fancy fonts are great on greeting cards but they are illegible when viewed from a distance. Your customer should not have to work hard to get your message. Find fonts that are easy on the eye to enhance legibility. Variations on classic fonts can be modified through color choice.

Color Has A Powerful Impact

Use complimentary colors to make your logo pleasing to the eye and ensure that it will look good against a white background. To define your logo, consider highlighting it with contrasting colors to make it stand out. If your design is very powerful, you can employ a stark contrast such as black on white. Your choice of color will define your company in powerfully emotional ways.

Design is geared to serve a purpose. Logo design should capture the spirit of your company in a memorable way. Simplicity and power are your friends.

Facebook Game Review - HeroZero

HeroZero Facebook Game

It's been months since the last time I've posted a Facebook game review here at Bloggers Tech, so to all Facebook games addict here's a game that I'm spending my leisure time with these past few days.

The HeroZero Game

The title speaks for itself. It's a HERO role playing game, you're the hero in this game and it's your mission to level up, get a team, help people of course and it may sound weird but you must also fight with your fellow heroes. Well, sometimes heroes gets into other heroes feet right?

So let’s talk about the game and let me show you around the game, share with everyone what I know and of course some times in playing this game.

HeroZero Game Character

My character "Agigil" is a female hero, it's already level 15 character but I already can beat higher levels because of my items and my character stats. Check out the screenshot of the game below:

You have the control with your character's strength (the one in arms), stamina (the football helmet), how smart is your character (obviously the brain) and the fastness of your character (the eye). The one in the middle is obviously your character with the items of your character - from costume to weapons. On the right side, you have my level, team and my honor (the one with the medal).

At first, I'm not into the way the character's look. It's not your usual cute and well drawn character, it's someone similarly drawn like some our recent cartoon characters. But anyway, you'll get used to it for few days.

The screenshot above is the shop where you could buy costumes for your character, you'll be able to get new stocks delivered in the store after 24 hours by just clicking the button. In the screenshot, I've already consumed it but I can still have another stock delivered by paying 1 donut.

Better check the stats of the items you buy to help you improve your stats. The best item that you can pick are the ones with colored borders around it, the items with VIOLET or PURPLE border is the best type since it's an EPIC type and it contributes a lot. If there are items with BLUE borders that's better because it's a RARE one, so obviously it's a lot better than a COMMON type of item.

HeroZero Game in Action

What's with the game with no action right? Especially if you can't see it fight and show off the skills that your character have.

The screenshot above are the list of other heroes that you can fight with. Ah yes! You can beat them up if you've got the skills, the power, the stats to beat them. The honor displayed is the honor of the character that you can fight with. The higher the honor (higher that you have) only means you can get a higher number of honor when you defeat the character. As this case, my honor is already 2,623 and if I can defeat SURIEL11 I can get 100+ honor from him but if I lose, well I lose a couple of honors too.

You can also just do a couple of fights, the progress bar is your energy bar to fight. So, when it ran out you just have to wait to fight again or pay 2 donuts to attack someone.

Let's check out Zeroian since it has a good honor and seems like I have a better stats and better chances of winning the fight.

As you can see, what's good about this game is that you'll be able to know the items and the stats of the enemy first before you attack him. Zeroian has a huge stamina than I have, higher stregth (damage) but I have higher brain and higher chances of avoiding the hit of the enemy (the eye). Comparing also his items to mine, I've got better items and most of it are EPIC ones.

So let's attack Zeroian, shall we?

Because Zeroian has a huge stamina, even though I can hit him hard it will be hard for me to put him down first before I die. So yeah, I lost.

As you can see I lost 101 honor because of this, but no worries you may gain it again through fighting other heroes.

HeroZero Missions

As a hero, it is your mission to help the helpless. The HeroZero game also have that for you. You can just choose a mission where you have two (2) to choose from, that is the Time Mission (you'll just have to wait around to get coins and experience - to level up) and the Fight Mission (where you'll have to wait a couple of minutes and fight a villain in a place). If you don't want to wait around, then just click the "Instantly Finish" button but you'll be charged for a few donuts.

Your energy will be consumed for this, which you can also use for training. It's totally different from the energy for fighting the other heroes. There are also other mission that you can do but it will be only available for level 25 - so I don't have an access to it yet.

Boosters may also help you with your mission, work and of course with your skills. With these boosters, you can wait less on your missions since it deducts a certain of the time that you need to wait. Your skills will also improve by a percentage, so it will totally help. It's just a couple of coins anyway for days of boosters.

HeroZero Team/Guild

A game like this usually have a team or some games call it guild. You can create your own team for only 500 coins, but a couple more expenses will be added for the logo, HQ improvement and other stuff. What's great in joining a team is that it will totally help with your stats, since in guild wars (to what other games call it) the team members may also get some experience.

Sadly, I don't have any members in my "MAJOR CRIMES" team yet. I've done a couple improvements already, and used my own gold for it. I've tried to invite some members but it seems they don't like it. Oh well!

There are also a couple of tournaments you can join in, but so far I haven't been into any tournament yet. There's one upcoming so I'll just update the post about tournaments and share it with everyone. What's great with these tournaments is that you get donuts!

HeroZero Money

Obviously, the donuts are also the money in this game. What I love in this game is the donuts are cheap, comparing to the other games available in Facebook.

This month, The HeroZero is having an October fest, so as you can see they have donuts promo this month that I've been wanting to have - well sadly, I've already sent all my money from PayPal to my bank. LOL.

But anyway, for the $2.99 worth of donuts I've bought a lot already. Upgraded my items, finished missions instantly, go training fast, and lots more.

HeroZero Gaming Tips

There are a couple of tips I could share with everyone so let me just break it down. First, with your character stats, I highly advice to spend a lot on your BRAIN. Of course, you should spend on your stamina, strength and for avoidance but make sure you've got more better stats on your brain because you'll hit a lot harder because you'll be smart on your attacks. I prefer to invest more on the eyes and brain, so that you could avoid the hits of the enemies, do smart moves and hit hard.

Lastly, pick the items that have colored (purple and blue) around it since and better stats. It will help you improve your character stats and boost your character.

HeroZero Game Review and Rating

The HeroZero game is an action adventure RPG game on Facebook. It's simply a game where YOU could be a hero in the virtual world. Upgrade your items, disguise yourself through working at a shop as an ordinary person and do the hero job at the same time through your hero missions.

I easily get bored with games, the longer I play the game means the game is very interactive and addictive and of course worth playing. With HeroZero, I was already starting to get bored on the 5th day and I'm trying to keep on playing the game but when I first started I spend about $10 already, my leisure time and even check it before I go to bed. It can be addictive, but for a few days only - well, that is for me.

For the HeroZero, I would like to give it 3.5 out of 5. I just love the fact that the game donuts are cheap, some other games on Facebook are good but the coins are way too expensive for me.

If you've got any more tips and questions about this game, please do feel free to leave it as a comment below!

The Smartphone - Is It Right for Me?

The Smartphone

The telephone has long been a mainstay of modern communication. Even with so many ways to communicate through email, social networking and instant messaging, being able to speak to someone at distance is just as revolutionary and invaluable as it was when the telephone was first invented and as a blogger and SEO specialist myself, smartphone is pretty useful for me specially here in Bloggers Tech blog. Landlines are still useful, but the fact is that people are much more on the go now than they used to be, and the public phone is all but dead, making a cell phone just as essential to everyday life as an automobile, or a refrigerator.

The so called smartphone appeared on the market about a decade ago now, and it is essentially a mini computer as well as a telephone. Is it necessary to always have a computer in your pocket? Maybe, maybe not. Depending on your lifestyle and type of work, a smartphone may or may not be right for you. This article will help you make that choice. Read on to find out more.

Internet Access

Some types of business involve a lot of travel. The smartphone can access the internet on the go, virtually anywhere. If you use the internet heavily in the course of your business, you may very well want a smartphone. Granted, non smart phones, such as a traditional style Nokia, can also access the internet, but they do not do so through wi-fi. Rather it is done through the telephone network, and this can be costly. Also, websites on such phones are not as user friendly as they would be on a smartphone.

Keeping a Diary

People have kept business diaries for thousands of years, but never before has the diary reminded you when an appointment was. If you forgot to check the diary, you missed the appointment. Recording an important event in a smartphone gives you the advantage of an alarm reminding you when and where you need to be. Interactive calendar and clock tools are invaluable to keeping your life in sync.

Entertainment

Smartphones can entertain you during downtime. But I'm not into video games, you might say. That's alright. Do you enjoy reading? You can upload your favorite books or magazines to a smartphone. Do you like watching television? You can watch TV on your smartphone now too.

Overall, sometimes things look glittery on the shelf, and we think we just have to have them. The reality is, after using them for a few weeks, they become mundane, or something we put on the shelf. It's then that we realize we were really just caught by advertising, or the lifestyle such advertising was promoting. Will a smart phone be like this for you? It might to be sure. But particularly for the business professional, this is unlikely to happen. The opposite is most likely to happen, because in today's fast paced world, you can't afford not to be connected to business colleagues. Visit your local electronics store to find out more, and feel free to ask the merchant questions. They want to help you get the best from your phone, which in turn will help you to get the best out of life.

What Computer Repair Services Can Assist You With?

Computer Repair Services

If you're trying to learn what computer repair services are going to help you with, then this article is going to teach you just that. If you're interested in learning more about this kind of service, then you should read along and pay careful attention to these tips.

You need to realize that you probably shouldn't open up your computer to work on it if you're not sure of what you're doing. Repairing the hardware on a computer is something a repair person with training should be doing because of how fragile some of the parts are inside a computer. If you make one wrong move and accidentally shock your motherboard or something of that nature, you may end up with a problem that costs quite a bit to fix. You may also end up frying something and that would mean you'd need a whole new computer.

Try to see if you can get the computer repair place to do a scan for viruses and spyware after they get your computer back into working condition. If you don't already do virus or spyware scans, then there may be things on your computer that are going to cause it not to work right. These scans are pretty easy to do, but if you don't have all the tools for things like that it could be difficult for you to know what to do. Just allow them to work their magic and don't forget you may want to use a virus and spyware scanner regularly.

You may want to have someone come out to your home if you don't really know how to take your computer and unplug everything to bring it to the repair place.
